Welcome Back to School
Our staff has been busy getting things ready for our Ware Bears. The custodians have been shining the chairs, desks, windows and floors. Teachers have been counting the text books and secretaries processing paperwork. It takes Team Ware to get it all done. We want this to be Ware's best year ever-

This year you again have a chance to purchase Ware Bear T-shirts during enrollment. There will be plenty of opportunities to show your BEAR PRIDE during the school year. We are also offering a Wear Elementary decal for you vehicle. We want everyone to know how many Bears are on Fort Riley.
Thank you returning parents and guardians whom processed their enrollment paperwork in May. You should be receiving your free/reduced lunch applications at the end of July or beginning August in the mail. You can mail it in to the central kitchen or return it to Ware.
If you are NEW to Ware Elementary your enrollment days are August 4th, 8:00-6:00pm and August 5th, 8:00-4:00pm. If these dates don't work for you, our office is open beginning Wednesday, July 28th, 8:00 - 4:00. We will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding enrollment of your students. You may check out the district enrollment page for specific information.

Student’s classroom assignments will be listed outside the office on August 12th prior to Open House. You will be notified if your transfer request is NOT approved.

Home Visits: August 10th and August 11th: 3:50-5:30

Home Visits are an opportunity for teachers to greet students and welcome them to the new school year. It is a quick informal stop by the home and welcome. If we miss you we leave a note and may try to stop by later.

Open House: August 12: 5:00-6:00pm

Open House is a chance for you to see your student's classroom. It a recommendation that you bring your student's supplies that evening. It creates less stress on the first day of school for everyone. If you are a kindergarten parent your teacher will "love you" if you have your student's name on all the supplies.
